A church house and a two room school house with the proper outside accompaniments [one for the boys and one for the girls.] I went to school there through the 7th grade. Is this the same Louisa Hurbough, born in 1820 in Indiana? If so, I have her as being married to Daniel F. Sherwood, George Washington Hanks, Sr. and William Lightfoot, but never to Buchanan Brooks. This Louisa was my great-great-great grandmother. She was the daughter of Solomon Hurbough and Eva Baltus. Solomon's father was Peter Herbaugh. If you have any additional information on this family, please let me know. This is a very "narrow" line going back to Indiana and no other Louises or Louisas that I can find.
