Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XiB.2ACI/1351.2 Message Board Post: Ed, I sent you an e-mail but I don't know if you received it or not. I have been looking through my records of the Ferguson family and I finally found your Mattie Ferguson. Her name was Amanda born 1846 married Jess Jones 1872 in Alderbranch. I only have 2 children listed:Jake born 1876 Sulphur Springs,TX and Lois born 1880 in Sulphur Springs,TX. Amanda (Mattie)Ferguson was a daughter of William(King)David Ferguson and his wife Mary Elizabeth Morton. In my records it has that Mattie and Jess left Sulphur Springs and nothing more was heard of them. I am descended from Mattie's brother William David Ferguson.

    1. [[TXANDERS]] Ray Line Genealogy and Marriage request
    2. M&T RAINIER
    3. I am new to this list and am looking for others researching the Ray family of Anderson County, TX. I am trying to join the Daughters of the Republic of TX and am in desperate need of a marriage record from the 1920's. I don't know the exact time of marriage but I strongly suspect it to be in 1920 or 1921. In fact I know it to be one of those years. Can anyone do a lookup on the county level for me? Perhaps I can trade a look up for those willing to look for me. Here are the names of the marriage... Jessie Army Murdock and Jacqueline Alcine Ray aka Jess Murdoch and Alcine Ray Alcine Ray b:1/5/1900 is the daughter of Reuben Warner Ray b:10/21/1872 and Nannie Lewis b: 1/27/1875. I am in the process of filling out the paper work for me membership to the DRT and a marriage record will be needed but the county just takes to long to respond. I am trying to save money right now so I am trying to avoid paying for a certified copy from the state along with a additional fee for the lookup in 1920 & early 1921. Can anyone help? Tara

    1. [[TXANDERS]] John W and Helen Michner
    2. Hello List- I am researching John and Helen Michner and their family. Somone found them on the 1910 Texas Anderson Census. The family lived in Palestine, I am having a hard time posting on the Texas web site but would like to go further in seeing if the family stayed in the Anderson vicinity. I would like the 1920 and 1930 census to see if any new names are addes to their household. Helens brother, Eton was living in the household in 1910 so I am wondering if 1910 and 1920 would still show him there. I am trying to find a death location of Helen Sanders/ Saunders Michne, at some time Helens husband John W died. I am wondering if it may have been Texas, John was born in Arkansas. If any one can help me out. I will be greatful. Thankyou. Melodee Slaney [email protected]
