Vases of beautiful spring flowers gave a lovely setting to the reception rooms. Progressive games were enjoyed at three tables, closing with Mrs. Burnett Owen holding high score, receiving an exquisite hard embroidered apron. The hostess served a delicious salad course to Mesdames Harry Lammons, Charles Clements, Pete Richardson, R. L. Williford, E. B. LaRue, Reagan Owen, J. P. Pickens, Misses Nelms and Carroll and Mrs. Brunett Owen of Dallas, Mrs. Charlie Pinkerton of Chandler and Mrs. Christopher Knox of Corsicana. Mrs. George Collins was hostess on Thursday afternoon for a lovely bridge party as hostess to the Congenial club, naming Mrs. George Bean, honor guest. High score prize, a silver table mat was won by Mrs. Burnett Owen and the consulation (sic) fell to Mrs. Milner. The honor guest was also presented a dainty gift. Mrs. Collins, assisted by Mrs. J. W. Caldwell, at whose home the party was given, served very tempting refreshments. The guest list included Mesdames J. P. Pickens, L. R. Barron, E. V. Milner, S. R. LeMay, J. W.
