She had been sick for some weeks with typhoid fever and clung tenaciously to life against the sad forebodings of her friends and physicians until to-day, when her spirit fled to the God who gave it. Her brother came here a few days ago and has been by her bedside ever since. Her parents in New Haven have been advised by wire of her sad and untimely demise. Her husband and friends here have the sincere sympathy of the entire community. Her remains were taken to New Haven, Conn., for interment in the burying ground of her relatives.
