Article Text: Cameron, Tex., Dec. 26.--Died at this place this morning Dr. Erasmus EDWARDS, in his 68th year, a native of South Carolina, emigrated in his youth to Alabama, and from Alabama to Louisiana and came from that state to Texas in 1844, served as surgeon in the United States army during the war with Mexico in 1846, and in 1863 he settled in Milam county and has ever since made this his home.
