JENNINGS Article Text: Marshall, Tex., July 6.--D. S. JENNINGS died at his home in this city this morning of flux. Funeral tomorrow. Deceased was born in Jackson, Miss., Nov. 15, 1847; moved to Texas in 1851; since he has lived in Marshall, Longview and Jefferson. He was married to Miss Carrie M. MARSHALL, Nov. 17, 1873. His wife, a 13 year-old son and aged mother and four brothers survive him. Mr. JENNINGS served as mayor of Longview for several years, beginning in 1873. He was also justice of the peace in that city. Deceased was a brother of R. L. JENNINGS, postmaster of this city.
