J. TATUM Article Text: Fort Worth, Tex., Feb. 19.--The shock of the death of Alderman F. J. TATUM has scarcely lessened. There is nothing to add to the account in THE NEWS of this morning. The funeral services will take place to-morrow morning at 10 o'clock at the Fourth street Methodist church. Rev. Mr. DEFORREST, the rector of St. Andrew's, will conduct the services. The Methodist church is used because the Episcopal church is too small. Lodge No. 148, A.F.and A.M., and the fire department, to both of which organizations Mr. TATUM belonged, will attend the funeral, the funeral, of course, being a masonic one. Special meetings of the Peter Smith Hose company and the department were called for this evening to take suitable action. The city council should hold a regular meeting this evening, but it is expected that it will adjourn after the adoption of resolutions of respect without transacting any business, as there is nothing but routine mater scarcely to come before that body. The recorde! r's court transacted no business to-day except to receive pleas of guilty.
