R. DAVIS Article Text: Waco, Tex., Feb. 2.--Judge W. R. DAVIS, a most estimable citizen and an eminent lawyer, died suddenly at 1 o'clock this morning. He was justice of the peace for nine years, and more recently has been in active practice. The courts adjourned in honor of the deceased and resolutions of respect were adopted by the bar of McLennan county.
