L. MADDEN. Mr. W. L. MADDEN and family were moving from eight miles east of Dallas to Greer county. They had started to camp for the night and Lune went to his wagon to prepare his bed. His shotgun was in the wagon and was accidentally discharged, the contents taking effect in his right breast, killing him instantly. He was only about 16 years old.
