Article Text: Mesquite, Tex., Jan. 30.--Mr. Shord HUMPHREYS, aged 68 years, died to-day at his residence, three miles south of town, with heart disease. Mr. HUMPHREYS was an old timer, having settled here before the war. He had many friends who, besides his immediate family and a host of relatives, will mourn his loss.
