Mr. WILLIAMS had been a sufferer for about seven months and had come to this place as the last hope of recovering health. The autopsy made by Drs. MAYER and MATHEWS revealed a large cancer of the stomach, secondary deposits occurring in the liver. The left superanual capsule was disorganized from the same cause. His remains were carried to Brownwood this morning, where he was buried at 4 o'clock this evening. A. COLEMAN Article Text: Denison, Tex., May 23.--H. A. COLEMAN, colored, died at his home, two and one half miles east of the city, to-day at noon. Uncle Henry, as he was familiarly called, came to Texas when only 18 years of age, and should he have lived a few weeks longer he would have been 70 years old. He enjoyed the perfect confidence of all who knew him, and his death has caused much sorrow among the colored people, especially those of the African Methodist Episcopal church, of which he has been a member since long before the war. His remains will be interred to-morrow evening under the auspices of the colored masons, at the COLEMAN burial ground, near the old homestead.
