Are there more papers to be found other than the 1917 draft card??? as in enlistment papers, etc?? if yes...how do i go about getting the rest of the information?? Lisa
Yes, after you find your ancestor on a draft card, it should have the unit and date of enlistment (at a minimum). With that info, you can apply to the National Archives for their military or pension records.
