From: JJacob4688@aol.com Subject: [TXHENDER] Henderson County Heritage Festival On Saturday, September 15, the Henderson County Historical Commission is sponsoring the Henderson County Heritage Festival from 10 am - 3 pm. at the East Texas Arboretum on Patterson Road. The festival will include exhibits, talks and demonstrations highlighting the history of the county. Among the activities will be an Antique Roadshow-type event being conducted by the owners of Wagon Wheel Antiques, a Civil War Encampment, spinning demonstration and a visit from the Old Time Texas Rangers (the ones with guns, not bats). Groups interested in the history of the county will have exhibits and the Retired Teachers organization will be manning a one-room school house. Admittance is free. A food concession will be available.
