A project that we have been working for over 6 months is nearly complete. The first 20 volumes of East Texas Family Records published by East Texas Genealogical Society which cover six counties {Anderson, Gregg, Henderson, Panola, Rusk & Smith} and the complete set of The Tracings published by the Anderson County Genealogical are now on-line at the Portal to Texas History website. They are searchable. The Texas State Genealogical provided funds to help pay for the scanning through its Partner Society one-time Archival Grant.
