Raguet Street,Lufkin, Texas Sponsored by Angelina County Genealogical Society in cooperation with Kurth Memorial Library Staff Get free individual one on one help and free research consultations about your genealogy research problems from the membership of the Angelina County Genealogical Society. Informal atmosphere! No formal presentations! Light refreshments. Drop in for an hour or stay the entire time to do your own research or to help others. No food, drinks,or smoking in the library. Ladies should wear clothing with pockets and/or a "VERY SMALL fanny pack" for the essentials of keys, wallets, ID's, change for copy machine (takes quarters), etc. as locker space is very limited. Your family lines do not have to be from Angelina County or even from Texas to participate in this free workshop. New beginning researchers are especially welcome to attend. It would be extremely helpful, but not absolutely necessary, if just beginning researchers, could have at least one surname and a general location where their family lived in 1930 or earlier, particularly if their family was not living in Angelina County in 1930.
