Texas State DAR Registrar, Judy Calloway Ostler, will be the featured speaker and will instruct attendees on how to prepare the official documents required for membership in the DAR. Mary Tyler members will also be present to answer questions. The DAR is a heritage organization whose members descend from at least one ancestor who was a Patriot in the American Revolution. The organization promotes patriotism, education, and history, and its members are active in many community projects. The workshop will begin at 10:00 a.m. and be completed at 4:00 p.m. A fee of $10 will be charged to cover materials furnished to those in attendance by Ms. Ostler and for a sack lunch. The workshop is open to the public but requires attendees to register prior to Monday, July 14.
