    3. Doug, Do you have any Newman family connections in Titus County/Mt. Pleasant area? My Gr Grandfather Daniel Cox's sister (they migrated from Tippah Co, MS during the late 1800's) married a Newman, and they still have an annual reunion in the Gladewater Community at the Gladewater Baptist Church. (This is not Gladewater, Texas, but a "suburb" out of Mt. Pleasant.) They invite me every year, and I've had a close association with one of the descendants who is up in her 90's and still active and sharp. Billie Ruth PS The throwing away of those boxes broke my heart. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Crabtree" <dcpossuman@embarqmail.com> To: <tx-etgs@rootsweb.com>; "Janice Brown" <janicecb@suddenlink.net> Sent: Wednesday, February 25, 2009 1:01 PM Subject: Re: [TX-ETGS] Luncheon 2/26/09 > Good advise Janise. > > Last yeaer qwe drove to Rockdale and spent two days there searching > through > old cemeteries hunting my father's birth mother. 3. Hello Charlotte: I have not forgotten about you. It seems since I retired I have been busier than when I worked and kept up two places, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Can you add any information to this e-mail from Billie Ruth? As far as I know I don't have any Newman relations anywhere close to me out of my grandmother Mary Louise "Kate" Newman. Would you see if you have a Cox marrying a Newman in you list of genealogy? thanks, Doug Crabtree -----Original Message----- From: tx-etgs-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:tx-etgs-bounces@rootsweb.com]On Behalf Of Billie Garmon Sent: Thursday, February 26, 2009 10:21 AM To: tx-etgs@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [TX-ETGS] Luncheon 2/26/09 Doug, Do you have any Newman family connections in Titus County/Mt. 3. I sent this me-mail to Charlotte Hudgins that lives in Ardmore, Oklahoma and she got right back with me and told me she didn't have any Cox-Newman connections in her computer. She has being doing genealogy on the Newman family for years. Sorry I can't help you. 3. Hi, Billie. Saw your email and just had to reply. This has nothing to do with your family, by the way. Just wanted to connect to you again. How are you doing? After Stewart passed away Nov. 3, 2003, I left the big house on Old Henderson Hwy and bought a doublewide and put it on some extra spot my daughter and son-in-law have in Chapel Hill. I love it out here, so quiet and peaceful. We live on a dead-end road, at the end. I live on the front part and they live behind me a good ways. I now worship at the  University church of Christ, instead of the Catholic. Never was comfortable there. My oldes son, Joe, became a minister and is in Hallsville church of Christ. He is on the program, Give Me The Bible which is on Sunday at 7:30 am on Chanel 56. I dvr the program and watch it later. I still don't get up early except for going to church, or have an appointment. I have decided to go back to school and finish my bachelor degree. I attend University of Phoenix online. This is my third class and am half way there. Just wanted the information  and am taking Small Business/Entrepreneurship to see how to really run a business and to keep my mind sharp. I really enjoy it. As of this moment, I have the 6 children, 27 grandchildren and 31 great grands. WOW! I know there will be more great grands to come, but my grands are probably thru. Well, just wanted to bring you up to date on my adventures. By the way, I am on Lyrica and Skelaxin for my Fibro and it really helps, of course still have the same aches and pains. I discovered that I have Sleep Apnea and got a CPAP machine and it really changed my life back to a more active life. I am truely greatful. You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I understand if you dont. Hope you are well.
