Is there an 1870 Census Index for the entire state of Texas? I just was informed that E. James Kellett and his wife Harriet might have migrated to Texas and was living there in 1870 with their family. I have no idea as to what county. My only hope of an easy find is an index other wise I am going to need to check county by county. Kathleen Burnett
