Hi Listers, I am new to researching for family in the States, and am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I am seeking Laura Eugenia CHIVERS b. 27 November 1859 in Grapevine, Dentor, Texas. Laura's mother was Martha Marilza WEEMS, and father was Joel Absolom CHIVERS. Laura is the older sister of my gg Grandfather. I am hoping that Joel CHIVERS will be found with Laura and her mother in the 1860 Census as he not around in 1880. This whole line has been quite a mystery to our family. I would be eternally grateful for any help you could give me in finding them.
