Hi, I am really sorry but there is no BELL in my family tree. The Bell you saw is the middle name of my grandmother, Mary Bell O'Connor. Her maiden name is BRYAN. She was born in Lake City, FL, 1891 and she is the daughter of Mary Molly BRYAN McQUAIG and William Augustus McQUAIG. W.A. McQUAIG was born in Ware County, GA. He died in 1894, Lake City, Columbia County, FL. He was the son of Jimpsey Neil McQuaig of Ware County, GA. My grandfather, Charles O'CONNOR was b. in 1886, Poultney, VT and moved to Saratoga Springs, NY. He and my grandmother married abt. 1915? and they lived in Miami, FL with their sons, Charles, Jr. and William (William is my father). They moved to Asheville, NC in 1922 and lived there until 1927 and then, I believe they moved to Houston, Harris County, TX. My grandfather and grandmother divorced? in Houston, I think. I do not know where my grandfather went after he left Houston. That is what I am trying to find out. Where did he go? If someone is able to look in the Houston Directories beginning in 1927 through 1940, I would very much appreciate it. Sorry to disappoint you with the BELL family not being related to any of my relatives.
