John J McKinney lived near Gordon, Palo Pinto Co., TX in 1900. His family moved to the county in 1886. His wife was Eliza Jane (Jennie) McKinney. The children still at home were: James Bird McKinney (?), Laura, Harley Fred (Pomp), Ella Jane, Ruby Lillian, and Berlin. He should still be in the county for the 1910 also. He died in 1912.
