I would appreciate a lookup for Henry George Johnson. He was b September 1881 in TX. His father was born in LA but have seen several of the children use TX on censuses. His mother was b. in MS. I do not know his wife's first name. No one seems to know anything about her. I know there should be at least one child Georgia Alice Johnson b. 1906 and Rosa Lee was b. 1910 but not sure when the census was taken. So she may not have been born yet. I know this isn't a lot to go on, but I would appreciate any help at all. Susan Couch
Susan, There are 166 Henry Johnsons indexed in 1910 Texas who stated that they were born in Texas - none near the right age indexed in 1910 Mills County; none near the right age with a "G" initial. You didn't state his race, but from earlier lookups, I made the assumption that the one you need is white, and based on that assumption, checked all those Henry Johnsons indexed who were white, born in Texas, and aged 29-30. None of those showed father born TX or LA and mother born MS. Also, none of those had a daughter named Georgia or Alice. Sorry I wasn't able to help. Hopefully someone else will have better luck. Thanks for looking Linda. That is the bad thing about researching a common name like Johnson. Then when they have common first names too, it makes it extremely difficult.
