Becki, I'm not having any luck finding Edward in 1900 or 1910. I tried spelling of Clark and Clarke with full name Edward, Ed and E. Found only one Edward Clark in TX 1900 the right age, but he didn't have any sons named James or Allen. Maybe someone else will have better luck.
