Thanks for looking Jeanette. Linda Huff found that the index had them listed as McBrayn instead of McBrayer. There were a lot of McBrayers in Ellis county at one time or another. I can think of at least 5 families in 1920 in Ellis County. I appreciate your help, and for that matter Linda's help in locating Marvin McBrayer.
