Could someone look up HARDIN in Grayson county,Tx(near Preston) coming from Ky(Taylor county- if possible) in 1850. I am looking for the unknown father and family of a John Hardin born in Preston,Grayson county,Tx. in 1854. Two nights ago on the Grayson co. lists, someone mentioned this Hardin family. But only a Ben Hardin and a William "Bill" Penn (who lived in the county, served in civil war, later got into a family feud and was killed). I don't know if the Hardin's stayed in the county in the 1860 census? May have gone to Missouri. I'm sorry to ramble on...just thought of this other info while making request. I would be grateful for any/all help. Thank you in advance. Dianne Hardin in Ca.
