Just a question. Is the 1900 Census indexed? Juanetta
Yes, by head-of-household only. Yes, but head of household instead of every-name. Not available through Ancestry, but Genealogy.com owns a 1900 US census index that they have "conditionally" loaned/rented to Heritage Quest. Of course, like all indices, it is not totally complete, not totally accurate - in fact full or omissions and errors - but an index nontheless, and a thousand percent better than nothing.
