Hi Linda: According to the 1850 Galveston census David was born "England", and the 1860 Galveston census indicates "Texas" (I think). The writing is not clear and I originally thought it read "Leeds" (which I presumed meant Leeds, Eng.), however, others I queried claim it reads Texas..... According to the 1850 Galveston census Frederick was born in "La" (Louisianna?). I appreciate your efforts. Regards, Pat, Mission, B.C. >Where were David and Frederick born? Maybe I can find them which might give a clue as to where David and Jennie are. Linda in Texas _____________________________ Hi Vicki: I'm almost 100% sure this is not 'my' Jennie; according to the 1860 Galveston census, she was already married to David. Many thanks for your trouble. Regards, Pat, Mission, B.C. >Could this have been Jennie before she married David?
