Dortha, Do you know what occupation Berry had? I find only one Berry York the correct age. He is in Queens Co., NY and is a stage performer as is his wife and two children. Also in the household are his In-laws (King) and they are theatre performers. Don't know if this could be your Berry or not. His 1930 info shows age 45, which would be correct, born TX which would be correct, but shows both parents born TX. There were some Yorks in Bosque Co., but none with a name close to Berry or B.M. There was only one other Berry (F.) York, also in NY aged 60, if I recall correctly. If you think this might be your Berry, you can contact NY-CEN. If you have any trouble getting the info though, let me know and I'll get it for you. His father was born in NC and mother in AR. I show his wife to be Mae Dehn, born1886. This may not be true, as the children with her were named Dehn and they , mother and children, were buried with other Dehn family, but in same cemetery in Bosque Co., TX. This is interesting, Linda. I don't think it's my family, but one never knows!! I appreciate your help. I may try later for the Dehn name. There were quite a few with that name in the cemetery in Bosque Co. All together. Sorry, Dortha. We can't do it here on-list, even though Linda was kind enough to offer. You will need to subscribe to the NY lookup list before you can post a request. Send a BLANK email to: [email protected] In the subject line and in the body of the email type ONLY the ONE word SUBSCRIBE In a few minutes you will receive a message from the list server saying that your email address has been subscribed. That email will give you a list of the NY Lookup administrator's guidelines/rules for posting to his/her list. Once your email address has been added, you can then post your request. Good luck.
