I am having problems with receiving my Texas Census Digest for some reason I sent two lookups and didn't receive any Texas Census responses over the weekend I knew my lookups might not be responded to but I knew there would be other lookups I went to Rootsweb and looked at the archives and found a response to one of my lookups but this request wasn't even listed at all. I am wondering if I need to resubscribe or wait and see if this shows up?? Any ideas?? Anyway this was a request I sent June 10th Bob (maybe Robert) White Mollie (Mary) I added this today. I have information that this is my gr gr grandmother and that they ran a cafe/saloon and wagon yard in Clairmont, Kent Co., Texas around the 1900's. My grandmother worked in the back washing dishes. I do not know of any children or dates of birth. I am not even sure whether I should be asking for 1900 or 1910 Census on them. If anyone can help me that would be great. All the information I have came from a story my sister told at family reunion about grandmother working in the back of a saloon...(cafe) Thank you for looking for me and hopefully helping me with receiving my Texas Census lookup digest again. June, I've never subscribed to the "digest" version, so I can't help you there. I am receiving your posts just fine, except for the one for Bob or maybe Robert White, and that one may have been sent somewhere else in error. To clarify your Robert White request: You need a lookup for a Robert White, with a wife named Mollie or Mary, in 1910 Kent County, Texas. You don't know anything else at all about this couple? Approximate age, race, place of birth for either? Where were the living when they died? Which of Mary's children would be your ancestor? The only Whites indexed in 1910 Kent County are a Mattie and a Mary C. in separate households. Mary was aged 36 or 56, a widow, born MS, living alone, and working as a laundress. No Bob. No Robert. Anything else you can furnish that might help would be appreciated.
