Could someone check for 1870 Charlotte Temple Powell, white widowed female, born TN 1800. I do not know if she is HOH or living with a son. Hoping that 1870 is every-name-indexed. Charlotte Powel Female, Age 70, Born TN, Keeping house, Sally Female, Age 35, Born FL, James Male, Age 12, Born TX, In school, Leonard Male, Age 7, Born TX, Living next door one way is a John Powel, age 39 TN and Bridget E, age 27 NY, with children, John F. age 13 TX, Sarah L. age 11 TX, Richard age 9 TX, Charlotte age 7 TX, William L. age 4 TX., Robert L. age 2 TX and Phoebe age 1 month TX,. Living 2 doors down the other way is a Fletcher Powel, age 44 TN,and Mariy, age 34 LA, with children, Eliza age 12 LA, Richard age 11 TX, Genet age 8 TX, Mary J. age 6 TX, Olivia age 4 TX, Cleber age 2 TX and Claiborne age 6 months TX. The information on this census is as of June 1, 1870. This is from Precinct 1, Coryell Co. TX, Post Office: Gatesville, Roll: M593_1581, Page: 265, Image: 9, I hope this helps some.
