Good Morning Linda, Thanks for sending the link to the 1790 census. I've been looking thru the Maryland census for Carters and have many possibilities. My 4th grandfather was born in Maryland around 1780's. So I'm looking for the 5th. I've been at this the last 2 hours, very tiring. It's a beautiful day and I need to get out in the yard.
