    3. Yes, A. Carr, Carpenter,M, W, 61, Ky: wife Martha,F W housewife, 50, Mo; Angelina Carr dau, 19, tx.;Peyton S, 17, Tx; Etheldred, S, 14, Tx; Samantha Joella and Irean Isabella, twins 8, tx.; in 1870 Harris Co. Westfield Po. census; This family was in the Hardin Co census in 1860 with 2 more daughters, and in the 1850 Sabine Co. Tx. census. Aguilar Carr was head of household in the 1840 census in Claiborne Parrish La. In the 1880 census of Montgomery Co. Tx. there is a Sallie Carr as head of household, with Hagdon and Drayton, Jo and Bell( these were the same children but don't understand the spelling) but their agesare right. but I haven't found where either A. or Aquilla and his wife Martha might be. Catherine had already md. Jessie P. Carter and has a family; Martha md. Zachary Taylor Martin; Angelina md John leonard Cagle; Bell md Henry Thomas Vick in Mont. Co. Tx. and Jo md L.McDonald. I hope this information will identify enough to let you help me. A. C. Carr was with the sommervel expedition in Oct. 1842 with E S Robertson Col. and I remember my grandfather Etheldred Thomas telling me that his Father Aquilla went to the Indian Nation with one of his children. The Carter family was in the 1870 Montgpomery Co Tx census. 3. I assume this is the right Angeline Cagle In 1880 Walker County TX Cagle, John age 40 b MS Angeline, age 25 b TX; she says father b. MO 3 daughters and one son 1880 Montgomery County Carr, Sallie says she was born in LA. The Carrs were in LA in 1840 so she is probably related somehow. Since Aquilla and Martha Carr would be in their late 70's, early 80's on the 1880, possibly they have died. And the 17-year old Carr daughters are living with Sallie. 1900 7-pct Montgomery County TX Vick, J. Henry and wife Josephine living next door to Dred T. Carr and family. You might already have this. If you live in Texas, most public libraries subscribe to TexShare Databases, which includes HeritageQuest. I see the census records thru my library. You might check with yours. Other states might do this also. I didn't find Jesse Carter on the 1880. I research Carters also. Sorry we haven't found Aquilla and Martha Carr.
