I am wondering if either survived long enough to be on the 1910 census. (or later) purpose of search is to eventually find his gravesite and see to putting a Civil War Tombstone on it for his service in the 28th Al Inf. CSA I didn't find them in 1910 but you might try the Kaufman County web site to see if there is a cemetery listing Nancy.
