    1. Texas, 1930 census Navarro Co.
    2. I have searched 1930 AND 1920 CENSUS several times and cannot find this Lloyd W. KENT. All I know about Lloyd W. KENT is an articale from the "Men & Women of WWll of Navarro Co., Texas" and a picture of a young Lloyd W. Kent in a military uniform with my gr grandmother (Susan Emily (KENT) CAFFALL), during WWll and before 1949 (she died in 1949, age 95) Lloyd W. KENT was a young man in the picture and I believe he must have been born in the 1920s or 1910--1920. If he was born in the 1930s, he would be -- way -- to young to enter Military service in 1944. The article states Lloyd W. KENT, Powell, Navarro Co., Texas, son of Mr & Mrs G.W.. KENT, attended Powell High School, and he married the former Miss Macey WHITE. Article also states Lloyd W. Kent entered the Army September 1944, trained at Camp Fannin, Texas. served at Hawaii, Saipan and Pacific Theadore. This Lloyd W. KENT should be a child on 1930 census, with his parents G.W. KENT. I can not find a Lloyd W. KENT on the 1930 census with his parents. It is possible he may still be living. This is all I know, do not even know where (state) or when (date) he was born. Hoping one of you may find him. Sorry this so shy of facts. Thanks you Jay _yaerohs@aol.com_ (mailto:yaerohs@aol.com) I am a genealogy nut, but I am not cracked.

    3. Hello Jay, This may be the family you are looking for. This is how they are listed at Ancestry.com. Willson Kent Head, Age 30, Himself and parents born TX, Mattie Wife, Age 27, Born TX, Father U.S., Mother U.S., Lloyd W. Son, Age 46, TX, TX, TX, Kathleen Daughter, Age 2, TX, TX, TX, Norman Son, Age 3 months, TX, TX, TX, Willson ( Wilson ) was renting his farm, he had a radio, he lived on a farm, he was age 22 at first marriage, he was able to read and write, he was a General Farmer, he was not a veteran. Mattie was age 19 at first marriage, she was able to read and write, she was a stay at home mom. If Lloyd was the son of Wilson and Mattie, he could not have been 46, I say he was age 6 and not 46, I think there was just a smudge on the census or they wrote something for his age and changed their mind and that is why the age is off, it does list him as being single and not in school as of Sept. of 1929. Kathleen and Norman stayed home with Lloyd and their mom. Ancestry.com lists Norman as being 3 years old but the census lists him as 3 months. The information on this census is as of April 1, 1930. This is from Precinct 2, Navarro Co. TX, Roll: 2380, Page: 3B, ED: 22, I hope this helps you some.
