Susan, This appears to be the same gentleman shown with Mabel and the children in the 1930 census of Carson County: 1920 Hardeman County, Texas - Chillicothe, Ward 4 - January 15, 1920 - ED 123/Sheet 13A/page 264 W. M. Houston's private boarding house, lines 1-9 251 - Williams, Arthur J., boarder; M W 32 Md; TX AL TX; barber/shop No trace of Mabel with the children indexed anywhere in 1920 Texas. Might she have been living with her parents? I notice there's a ten year gap between Neulan and their youngest child, so they may have been separated for some time. Good luck!
