Hi Jeanette, All I know about George and his wife Ida Mae was that they were white, born in TX and that at least two of the children were older than Herbert. I don't have any middle initial for George, but will try to find out more if I can. This family lost touch with each other as Herbert divorced his wife and then got murdered and his children did not have any contact with their Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins etc...................Trying to find what I can with what little information as I have. I know that it is not a lot to go on, so don't worry, I will try to find out more some other way. Sincerely, Dianne On Saturday, April 9, 2005, at 02:06 PM, Savasnia wrote: > Dianne, > > There are twenty-two George SMITH'S indexed for Dallas, TX in the > 1920 census. How old would your George be? Jeanette and other volunteers, Please cancel my request for a lookup until I find more information for you to go on. I don't want to waste your valuable time until I can give you more information. I appreciate all of the hard work you volunteers do, and I don't want to take advantage of you.
