I would appreciate knowing the month that this census was taken. It is for: William Williams b. abt. 1826 - Illinois I need to know because of the last child on that census that is William Williams listed as 3 months old - I would like to try and find a death certificate for him and there are 3 listed under William Williams in the SS death index for Texas. All ages were to be as of June 1. The date shown on this page was June 22, 1880. LaNere, Not sure about your question, but any infant shown as being "three months old" on the 1880 (or 1900, etc) census, would have been born during the month of April or on March 1st of that year. All answers on the 1880 census refer to the official enumeration date of June 1, 1880. Good luck!
