Hello Susan, This is the only Laura J. Kirby I find in 1900 Rockwell Co. TX. Here is whata I find on Ancestry.com about this family. Albert H. Kirby Head, Age 56, Born TN, Father NC, Mother KY, Pheby V. Wife, Age 57, Herself and parents born TN, Laura J. Daughter, Age 26, Born MO, Father and Mother TN, Dara Daughter, Age 23, Born MO, TN, TN, Evva R. Daughter, Age 19, Born MO, TN, TN, Albert was born in Jan. of 1844, he has been in this marriage for 32 years, he is a Farmer, he was able to read and write, he was buying his farm. Pheby was born in Aug. of 1848, she has been in this marriage for 32 years, she is the mother of 7 children, 5 still living, she was able to read and write, she was a stay at home mom. Laura was born in Jan. of 1874, Dora was born in May of 1877, Evva was born in June of 1880, all were single and able to read and write. The information on this census is as of June 1, 1900. This is from Justice Precinct 1, Rockwall Co. TX, Roll: T623_1667, Page: 15A, ED: 83, I hope this is of some help to you.
