I have a death certificate for Linda Blake Schiro in Galveston, TX that looks very suspicious. Her parents are listed as unknown, her husband, Joseph Schiro is not listed at all, and there is only a boarder ?) listed as being present in the home at the time of her death--3:00am, on August 16, 1948. Inquiry was held. but do not know what the result of that was. Wrote to newspaper, but no response yet. Her DOB is 12-05-1914. Born in Iowa, but cannot find her on Iowa census. Her body was shipped to New Orleans---Tharpe/Sonthier Funeral Home, but no info on where she was buried. I cannot find her on the N.O. census either. Wondered if maybe she is listed on a census of Texas from 1920 or 1930? Thanks, Melanie
