Marianne, No rabbit in the hat this time. There was only one Floyd Collins indexed in 1880 Texas - he was too young to be yours - and born in Kentucky. I honestly tried every trick I could think of and searched the national index also without finding this fellow. Because the 1880 LDS transcription has an every-name index, I tried searching on "Lavinia" (because it is fairly unusual), who should be about age 11, and born in Florida. No luck there either. Sorry I wasn't able to help (again)!
