Truman, I didn't find them in 1870 Milam County. In 1880, they were living in Bell County, but they weren't indexed in 1870 Bell either. There were MANY Henry Stevens/Stevens indexed in 1870 Texas, but I didn't find any in the counties near Bell and Milam. Any ideas as to where they might have been living in those years between 1860 Milam and 1880 Bell? If you need the 1880 Bell County census entry for HW and Susan's family, let me know.
