My 2nd grt. grandfather, David RICHARDSON (b. 1819 England), was co-owner/editor of the Galveston Daily Newspaper (and others) from abt. 1850 until his death in New York City in 1871. However, he and his family were living in Galveston and other parts of Texas until abt. 1866. I would like to discover if any of his children remained in Texas after he left for New York. If anyone has access to the 1870 census, I would be most grateful for a 'lookup' for the following: RICHARDSON, Sophia - age 31 years - b. England RICHARDSON, David Jr. - age 27 years - b.
