There were several David Richardsons indexed in 1870 Texas. I checked them all, and none were near the age of yours - none indicated that they were born in England. There were no Sophie/Sophia Richardsons indexed - no Lou/Louise/Louisa Richardsons - no Fred or Frederick Richardsons. There were too many Eliza and Elizabeth Richardsons throughout the state to check. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
