    3. Dave, To my knowledge, there is no surviving federal census for 1890 Texas. I would be happy to check 1900 for you, but will need at least the county where they would have been living during that census year. It would be impossible, timewise, for me to download and check the hundreds of King household heads in the state to see which, if any, had a wife named Amanda and daughter Lula. If you can find anything further to help in locating them, I will be glad to give it a try.
