    3. Mary, There are many Walter Wrights indexed in 1930 Texas but only one Walt or Walter Wright indexed who indicates birthplace of Tennessee. That one was enumerated in 1930 Limestone County and born ca 1874. There is only one Wright indexed in 1930 Cameron County who indicates birthplace of Tennessee. That one is a Grover Wright, born ca 1893. There's only one Vina Wright indexed in the state who had a husband named Walter: Walter L. and Vina Wright - Tarrant County, Texas. He born 1891, she born 1895, both in TX, and no children. Sorry I wasn't able to help. 1. Re: [TX-CEN] San Jacinto County, Texas
    2. Linda Murray
    3. Carol, Might Fred's mother have been Mindy Shaw instead of Lunn? Fred's family in the 1900 San Jacinto County census were living next door to Jeff Shaw's family. Jeff and his wife, whose name looks like Lun to me, had a daughter named Mindy, who was the same age Fred's mother gave on the 1910 census (born Feb 1888 per 1900 and age 21 per 1910). Am trying to verify Mindy Shaw's mother's name in case that's where the "Lunn" surname came from, but she was dead prior to 1910 and am not having any luck so far finding her in the 1880 census. If you think Mindy may have been a Shaw instead of a Lunn, would you let me know, please. If Shaw is not a possibility, I won't waste any more time on that search. Does Mindy have a grave marker? Does you dad remember if she had siblings (Millie, Richard, Rosa)? 3. Mary, There are no Newbills indexed in 1930 Bexar County and no Erna or Edna Newbil/Newbill/Newbell indexed anywhere in 1930 Texas. What else do you know that might help someone find her? Approximate age, race, place of birth are practically a necessity and it would be helpful to have the names of relatives with whom she might be living; parents/husband/children, etc. Sorry I can't do more without having more to go on.
