There were four William Bradfords in the 1860 Texas census index - no Bradfords indexed in 1860 Menard County. There were William Bradfords indexed in: Denton, Louisville Grayson, Sherman Llano Smith, Canton Beat Because it was closest to Menard, I checked the one in Llano, and it was not the correct family. Louise, Does it say on Antonia's headstone when she died? There are no Pedro Flores' indexed in 1920 Menard County, but many in Bexar. Hi, I am searching for John Janes/Jaynes in Texas Census of 1900 and 1910 He was born in Missouri in 1868-1869. His middle initial is M. Mother born in VA/WV His father is John T. Janes born in WV/VA about 1840-1843, I am searching for him in 1900 Texas Census. John T. died in 1906 so this John wouldn't be in the 1910. The only clue I have that they were in Texas is John T. Janes Civil War Pension file. John gives the city and state as Katy, Texas in 1903 so hopefully his son was there with him and also there in 1900 and (1910 for John T.) Linda, There's not one in the 1900 Texas index. I found one in 1920 La Flor County, Oklahoma, indexed as Minor E. Ward, born 1878 in Arkansas, with wife Dovey. There was also one indexed as Minor A. Ward in 1920 Texas, who was born in Texas in 1880, with wife Annie and children named Charley, Travis and Robert. If either of these is yours, let me know and I will check again. I believe the one born in 1878 Arkansas was with his father, Minor E. Ward, in 1900 Arkansas, enumerated as Edward.
