    1. [TX-CEN] 1900/ Dallas / Schoolfield
    2. Donnie Nazelrod
    3. I am trying to get all my ducks in a row. Can someone please help me. Seeking the Dallas County 1900 census return for the family of JAMES R. SCHOOLFIELD, b. ca. 1865 (about 35 in 1900), place unknown, and his wife NORA L. SCHOOLFIELD, b. ca. 1870 (abt. 30 in 1900) I am trying to establish the parentage of Nora Schoolfield - especially need the birth place of Nora, her father and her mother. Trying to find proof that Nora was the daughter of Thomas and Caroline Wilkinson, who migrated to Dallas Co., from Maryland James and Nora married in 1888, in Dallas Co., and divorced in 1904, in Dallas Co., so I have to catch her in this census if I'm going to find her. Any help with this request will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my query. Donnie

    1. [TX-CEN] Wyatt family in Texas
    2. Hello, I am searching for the Wyatt family that lived in Texas before 1920. My ancestors are Ben Wyatt born in 1888 in Texas and Henry H. Wyatt born in 1884 in Texas. Ben and Henry were brothers, their mother was born in Missouri and their father was born in Virginia. The data above was obtained from the 1920 and 1930 census in Oklahoma. At that time they lived in Murray County, OK. The two brothers, at this time, worked in the rock quarries of Dolese Brothers. I know that this is a far stretch, I do not have the Texas County name nor the parents name for Ben and Henry Wyatt. Any help would be appreciated. David Coates Charlotte, North Carolina

    3. Truman, I didn't find them in 1870 Milam County. In 1880, they were living in Bell County, but they weren't indexed in 1870 Bell either. There were MANY Henry Stevens/Stevens indexed in 1870 Texas, but I didn't find any in the counties near Bell and Milam. Any ideas as to where they might have been living in those years between 1860 Milam and 1880 Bell? If you need the 1880 Bell County census entry for HW and Susan's family, let me know.
