Ed, I can lookup the 1920 information on your J. R. Kelley, but need some more information. Where was he born? What names do you have for any children? Any other information would be helpful. I found no William Howe in Grayson County, Texas in 1850. The only William Howe in Texas is in Galveston County, City of Galveston. Age 16 born NJ apprentice to and in the household of Wilber Cherry, publisher, "Journal," born in NY. Is this your guy? NO listings for W. Howe, Wm. Howe, W. R. Howe, Wm. R. Howe, W. R. B. Howe, Brown Howe. (soundex) There is a William Hai in Harris County, William J. Hoy in Refugio, and William S. Hoy in Smith County. I used Ancestry.

I had posted a request a couple of weeks ago. I have since noticed that no responses have been posted. Is that because there is no one currently doing lookups or that all responses are one-on-one? Is there a rule of thumb on how long it is likely to be before being contacted.
