Any help locating the family of a W. H. Gardner or William Gardner and family in this area of texas in the 1900 census. Wife may have been Narcicissus A or N A , . Children in home at that time may have been Effie Lee, Charles Campbell, Martha Jane, maybe more. Any help at all greatly appreciated. William would have been born in 1839 MO? I am looking for a couple of brothers, Thomas [Charles] Leonard, b. 1833/34, Alabama, and James [Austin] Leonard, bef 1832 Ala or NC. They probably had slaves til abt 1860/1861, Thomas ended up in Newton county, then Polk county. Don't know where James went. Should both be in East Texas somewhere.
