Dickie, If you go to the LDS site and type in the name Dedier Sutringer you will get the census info you are looking for. He was a boarder with a family named Sarrazin, A. in Fayette Co. TX both Census taker and the transcriber made mistakes on the name. I don't know where you got your information, but I checked page 283, the page before and the page after, but found no one by that name. There is a C. Hurtfinger or Hurlfinger), and a Dedier Sutringer but so far as I could see, that was the closest. In my opinion (from looking at the images) , the first letter is an S, not an L, although someone may interpret the scroll S as an L. If you want, I can send you a .jpg image attachment of the page and you can make your own determination.
